Investing in UAE real estate

UAE has become a centre of attraction from investors across the world. And there’s a reason for that. With Dubai and Abu Dhabi ranked among the top 10 cities in the world, it is no wonder investors keep on looking to UAE for safely investing their money. Abu Dhabi has been known for getting higher average returns than places such as Singapore, Hong Kong, London and various other cities across the world. In terms of the average monthly return, Abu Dhabi is only second to New York. Dubai also ranks among the top 10 cities with the highest average returns.  The sense of security that expats get in UAE ensure that it stays in their top list for investment.

Safety – Apart from the obvious reason of high return on investment, another crucial factor is the safety you get in UAE. With UAE being awarded the safest country in the world at the 12th Dubai International Police Symposium, the safe environment being offered has become one of the key incentives for people to decide to live and raise their family in the UAE.

Declining Prices– The decline in property prices over the recent past has been another contributing factor for the rising interest of investors. With the Expo lined up in 2020, the prices are expected to rise as the effect of the Expo starts to materialise. With many projects expected to be handed over before the start of the Expo, we can expect the property owners to have a field day.

Technology Advancement – UAE is second to none in terms of technology. Dubai is a pioneer in the field of technological advancements with world class hospitals, continuous innovation in transportation and other areas happening at a good pace.

And not only Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Sharjah is also taking great leaps. In 2018 itself, Sharjah saw investment of Dh 22.5 billion in real estate. This shows the confidence that the investors are showing in the UAE real estate industry. The recent decision of the government to offer long term residence visas of up to 10 years has had a very positive impact and has played a key role in influencing the decision of the investors.

The perks offered by UAE include its pro-business environment, state of the art infrastructure, relatively diversified economy and considerable political stability. Together these perks have been able to draw the attention of the investors from across the world, making UAE a top investment destination for people.
